Why Wards Swim School?
Our lessons are for children age three and a half upwards and for all levels of ability.
Our experienced team of teachers deliver outstanding swimming lessons and are committed to getting the best from your child.
We follow the ASA Learn to Swim Framework, which takes non-swimmers from their first splash to developing competence in the water.
We have a maximum of 10 children per class to ensure your child benefits from their lesson.
Our non-swimmer classes always have teaching assistants in the water to provide additional support.
Our non-swimmer classes are taught out of depth and using armbands where appropriate.
We supply floats and all equipment used in lessons except swimming goggles and hats which can be purchased on-site.
At the end of each course we have an assessment week and swimmers in accordance with the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming will receive a distance and/or Level certificate and badge and move up to a higher class.
We understand and love swimming!
